Who Is Limitless Fatima?

An only child to my late mother, and the baby to my late father. I grew up in Camden, NJ a very impoverished city with my single mother, and I thought we were rich, how hilarious! My mother was a very hard working woman who went above and beyond to make sure that I didn't live in lack. Because of this, I often had experiences that my peers couldn't relate to, and sometime just all out didn't believe. Needless to say, the more I grew, the more I discovered that a lot of my peers realities were much different than mine. They sometimes didn't have food, or clean clothes, some smelled bad, or had periods of living with no electricity. Even as a child, I always wanted to help. Teasing was never my thing , in fact I often befriended those who typically were teased. Those were the years when my heart to help others really started to form,

Fast forward to my young adult years at the age of about 20/21, some of my family and their friends were looking to me when tax time came around, why because at the age 16 ( my first year of working a real job), I got a booklet in the mail from the IRS that had forms and instructions for filing taxes, and I decided to read the instructions, do the math ( I loved math) and mail in my tax forms.  Well, low and behold,I did it right! Eventually that led to me helping others with theirs too.

Over some years and through different business ventures, I started to discover that I was pretty effective when it came to capturing an audiences attention, and explaining a subject matter. But, I had one big problem, I was good at too many things (so i thought). I had worked lots of jobs that left me feeling unfulfilled. I had a couple of side hustles that were not even remotely related, and at some point, I started to feel stuck at the center of a whirlwind. I was good at too much and couldn't figure out what my passion was. At this point I had gone to school for taxes and had a small tax business, I had started and operated a romance party company. I had opened a romance novelty gift boutique. I had a good administrative resume from all the positions I held over the years, and then I started doing hair (by accident) for the second time in my journey. I mean it seemed like I was all over the place. I had business counselors tell me that I needed to focus on one thing. They would ask which area are you most passionate about? Which makes more money? They would say figure it out and focus on that. For me however, that was too hard. I didn't want money to be my only driving force, and I couldn't determine what field I enjoyed most because I just enjoyed helping customers, Period.

One day several years back, I was confiding in a friend , I was totally overwhelmed with confusion, and I told her, " I don't know what I am suppose to do"!! She regurgitated, "what are you passionate about"? I said, " Helping People"! I am not more passionate about one service over the other, but I am passionate about helping my fellow man in any way that I can. Her response was, " well there you have it", she said, " Fatima you are so dope and gifted, I have watched you in action, you are effective in all the fields of your expertise, so who said you have to confine that to a box"? Shortly after that conversation, I heard a voice inside that said "Take the limits off"! That Day Limitless Fatima was born.

I am a Tax Professional and Financial Consultant, A Licensed Natural Hairstylist and Master Educator, I am also an advocate of Holistic Health. Most of all, I love supporting, educating, and helping people in anyway my experiences, education and expertise allows.
